Grad Cake

Here's a picture of the cake Kim and made this weekend. It was for my mom's friend's son...he just graduated from UNT! We had so much fun making this!

Here's Gwenie, making her own cake...she iced it and even put fondant on it and everything!

Ang, it looks GREAT! Great job. You are a pro. How much did you end up charging?

ha ha, Kathryn, you are so funny...ok, does he want it in the SHAPE of the truck? Michael's and Hobby Lobby have cake pans that are in the shape of trucks and stuff...you could totally decorate that easy...your pumpkin for Nash's cake was amazing!!!! Let me know though and I'll totally help you out girl!

You forgot to mention that not only did Gwen ice her own cake, but she did it in her princess dress. Ugh...and to think that I forgot mine that day...

Hey, I have the tractor cake pan if she wants to borrow it...

Awesome!!! it looks great! Holy cow. I'm impressed.

On an unrelated topic: What is up with the peg-rolled jeans on Katie Holmes as seen on the Celebrity Moms blog????? PLEASE tell me that's not coming back in style. Please, please, please.

Kim...I bet you do have a princess dress! And, Thanks Jenny for sucking me into the Celebrity Moms site to find the stinking peg-rolled jeans. Like I needed to look at pictures for ten minutes while also being reminded how NOT CUTE I am compared to those darn celebrity moms. Ho hum.

Props on the cake ladies, I love Gwenie's "green" mouth, sneaking licks of the icing!!! FYI- I bought a specialty cake last year for Wheezy's birthday, from the picture, about the same size as the green/black one, it came with the one year smash cake, but I paid $85 for it, YIKES, i know, so girls, you just charge away :):)

Thanks Sarah Beth! You are so cute! Wheezy's cake was VERY cute though! Jenny, ugh on the peg rolls on Katie...seriously...but I"m kinda a fan of the baggy jeans thing...better than skinny jeans!

Ladies, ladies, ladies...has no one been reading their US magazine? It's not just Katie Holmes that is wearing the peg-rolled jeans. There's lots of 'em--Sarah J-P, Posh, Katie....I'm telling you, come fall and you will all be doing it too. I would probably be okay with that...just as long as I don't have to tease my hair and get out the Aqua Net for my bangs, we're all set...

Peg rolled jeans -- it just can't happen. It's horrendous. When I was in New York recently I noticed several women wearing their hair in a french braid. So that's probably coming back, too. Ugh.
