Museum School

Soo, 2 weeks ago was Gwenie's first day of Museum School...SHE LOVED IT! My mom's taking her and she just had the best time...she had such a good time that I have to now pack her a lunch to eat in the car on the way back to Ms. Kathy's...funny stuff! She thinks she's so big with her lunch and school...I think I'm going to have to re-budget to get her into more school...maybe Rebekah's preschool or something...she LOVES school...but so did I...LOVED it...maybe that's why I'm still here...who knows.
Doesn't she look like SUCH a big girl...tear.

Awesome! Could she be any cuter? It is so great that your mom can take her - great for both of them, I'm sure.

It was fun to hang out with you Friday night!

Aw!! I went to museum school for preschool. I loved it, too. (Except for the part where they let a mouse run around under a rug while we all sat around it. I'm still traumatized by that.) But seriously, I can still remember how it smelled and everything.

Jealous!! What a precious gift of learning your mom is helping her to have. You've got a special mom and a special little girl, Angie!! I cannot believe how big she looks. Keep us updated.

Jenny - the dyslexia (I really have it, people so don't make fun) got me and my brain read that you had to sit on a carpet while a moose ran around under it. I think that would have been really sad - and would take a HUGE carpet. Luckily, one of my coping strategies is to visualize and since I was having difficulty with a carpet big enough for a moose to run around under while 4 year olds sat on the edge, I re-read to discover it was only a mouse. SO just think, it could have been worse.

And I just re-read again to discover that the mouse probably wasn't under it rather on it and a moose could totally do that. You are all jealous of how cool my brain works aren't you? It's a new story every single time I read it!

seriously folks...museum school is WAY cool but not as cool as y'all are imagining maybe...no running moose, just a skunk, not real though:) She loves it so much that I'm feeling guilty that she should be in more school! And Jenny, TOTALLY an Angie outfit...don't worry, I'll save it for your girl:)

It was a MOUSE and it did run UNDER the rug. We all were sitting on the edges so it was kind of stuck under there and couldn't get out. And if I remember right, it was running around under the rug because it was being chased by another animal. I can't remember the specifics. And come to think of it, this all sounds like a sick thing to do with a bunch of pre-schoolers. All I know is that I was terrified. I am getting the heebie-jeebies just thinking about it now...

But other than that Museum School really is that cool, Ang. Or at least it was in the late 70s, early 80s. We did all kinds of crazy stuff that would probably get a school sued these days.

So excited for Gwen!

Oh, and I need to consult the Chinese astrology chart about when to have my next child so I can ensure it's a girl just to get that outfit handed down! Of course, I'm not above putting Tate in pink frilly pants. Seriously. Have you seen some of the stuff I've put the child in? It could happen....
